Shipyard Pumpkinhead

I was just thinking how I have had enough Pumpkin beer for a while. Then today I pulled this out of the Advent Calendar. But unlike so many pumpkins, this is a lighter, more refreshing beer. I followed advice on the Shipyard Brewery website and drank this "in a pint glass rimmed with sugar and cinnamon."

After a long day of work followed by a spicy dinner out with Sandy, I had built quite a thirst and this quenched it.

There's an old German Proverb that goes, "It takes beer to make thirst worthwhile."
