Don de Dieu

I chose this beer tonight as I prepared a meal of homemade Chicken Parmesan for my “Don de Dieu”, my gift of God, my sweet Valentine.  Martin Luther wrote,

“Next to God's Word, The world has no more precious treasure than Holy Matrimony. God's best gift is a pious, cheerful, God fearing, home-keeping wife, to whom you can trust your goods, your body, your life.”

The beer, on the other hand, being a little too cidery, doesn’t live up to its pretentious name.
