Big Flats Light served its purpose well tonight, washing down my supper of deep fried zuchinni and pickles, a couple of chicken strips and beet greens steamed with almonds, jalapeno and cocktail weiners.

Big Flats Light
Today I took a taste test. Last time I stopped in at Walgreen's I saw they had both Big Flats and Big Flats Light and I wondered what could be the difference. So I poured a glass of both and then I sniffed and sniffed and sipped and swished and savored and swallowed and thought. Then I concluded: there is no difference.

Big Flats 1901
From time to time I like to include the comments of other beer drinkers in my beer book. Today I’ve got some good words from Sandy Koch, my wife.
While fishing at the dam in Nashua, she and I each had a can of Big Flats 1901 Lager Beer.
First she whiffed the aroma and said, “Hmm! Smells like a Polka dance.”
Then she took a swig and said, “Tastes just like a regular ole beer.”
To which I replied, “Nothing wrong with that.”
