“No man is an island.” So said John Donne. I realize that I need a little help from my friends. When I am sick I need the doctor. When I am in legal trouble I need the lawyer. When I am hungry I need the farmer and the butcher. And when I thirst for a good beer with just the right balance of hoppy bitterness and malty sweetness, I need a good brewer. I don’t always get to thank my friends so directly for their work on my behalf. So I appreciated the chance to shake Bob Cannon’s hand and say “Thanks, for your work.”
