I was so proud of how this Continental Pilsner turned out. I brewed it from a Brewer’s Best kit. I served it to several people who complimented it. But then in one of the later bottles, I found this
disturbing flaw.
Something like this could have been a serious set back to my work. But I have a number of friends on facebook
who sent me expressions of concern and encouragement.
Fellow Former Camp Counselor Patty J Kernstock wrote: “Don't worry. He wont drink much.”
My mother, Mary Koch wrote “It's only in the foam, skim it off.”
Parishioner Ruth Jeske Hoeger wrote, “Or drink it- just think of it as a little
extra protein. :)”
Parishioner Terry Grant wrote, “Better
than a tear in your beer :-0”
2nd Cousin, Alan Elsass wrote, “Forget the small stuff, it is
well preserved.”
Colleague Robin D Fish Jr. wrote, “Waiter,
there's a fly in my beer!”
And high school friend Tammy Ewing Danner summed it up well, saying, “ugh”.
