Samuel Adams Summer Ale


Samuel Adams Summer Ale went great with this hot chicken sandwhich.  The side salad of cucumbers, tomatoes and bleu cheese helped me along my way to a goal of five servings of fruits and vegetables for the day.  Our health insurance company is giving us an incentive to eat healthy.  We can get cash back when we report that we ate five servings of fruits and vegetables at least five days a week for six weeks.



This a “wheat ale brewed with lemon peel and grains of paradise” (from the label).  Assuming that hops are a vegetable and lemon peel is a fruit, the question at the table was, "How many of these do I need to drink for it to count as a serving of fruits and vegetables for  today?" 

My wife, Sandy, and I have not yet reached the point of seeing eye-to-eye on this question.
