Fat Weasel


            And then finally, it rained.  After so long, we finally get a decent thundershower.  Erik Rottmann and I had to move off of our comfortable chairs on the deck and come inside for our next beer. 

            Fat Weasel Ale has exactly what I am looking for in a beer: a nice balance of malt and hops plus a definitely pronounced flavor of grain.  Essentially beer comes from the fields of amber waving grain. I like to taste that grain essence in a beer. These brewers at Ukiah, California have found a way to keep in the bottle the grain flavor of the font from which beer flows.
