Silly Pants Stout

While touring downtown Springfield, Illinois, Caleb and I found Obed & Isaac’s, a brew pub in a beautiful historic building. Their Silly Pants Stout has the comforting aroma of roasted nuts and the bold stout flavors that seems to shift around: sometimes coffee; sometimes chocolate. It was served with a thick dense tan foam that decorates my moustache with every sip.

I also tried the Righteous Rye Pale Ale. It had tangerine in the first aroma followed by plenty of rye flavor. I found it more interesting than refreshing.
