While I sat through seemingly endless meetings at a convention in St. Louis, Sandy had the time to stroll through town and find neat little corner shops. Then, later in the evening when I was free, she would retrace some of her steps and show me what she found, like bridge Tap House and Wine Bar which had the beautiful bar pictured here, with 55 beers on tap and friendly staff to draw one for me.
I was happy to peruse their menu and after much deliberation, chose this Belgian Wit. It was sweet with a little sense of caraway seed.
The ladder is for the bartender to reach high bottles, which he had to do to make Sandy's Amaretto Sour.
