Tonight as I enjoy a cold Tecate, I am reminded the last time I drank one, prior to the start of this blog. On October 13, 2011, I wrote in my lifetime beer book:
"Mexican beer can go well
with Iowa grown produce. The ripe
tomato from our garden, our fresh peppers and onions sautéed and layered on
Sandy’s homemade pickle relish combined with beef from Rick Haugen’s steer making
the best sandwich that Tecate has ever been paired with."
