Short Straw Farmhouse Red Ale

When I watch The Taste my mouth waters. That sends the signal to my brain to want to have a drink or a nibble. Tonight this saison did nicely to get me through the show. I don't usually choose saisons. I prefer beers that are more interesting in another direction, either darker or more bitter. But I find the sweet and tart flavors, hinting at strawberries here, to be refreshing and very drinkable. As I suggested on my BeerAdvocate review, Blue Moon offers a "gateway" brew to the saison style.
