Penny Whistle

I took a couple of friends, Phil Hale and David Klinge to Old Chicago for lunch. Phil (at left) is a brewer from Nebraska who, in my opinion, needed to get a good taste of Iowa beers, so we had a couple of draws from the Backpocket tap.

 Penny Whistle is as good as Backpocket's marketing says it is:
  A hint of clove, a touch of cinnamon… Decide for yourself, but nope, there aren't any gimmicks behind the flavor of this refreshing Wiezen. Just basic ingredients playin' their favorite tunes.
