Shiner comes up with new
brews now and then. I enjoy them all. Their basic lager however, inspires
nostalgia for a time when things were simpler, when one could just sit back and
enjoy a beer, without working hard to analyze the malt backbone, the hop profile,
the character of the finish or other geeky stuff.
I am sitting in our warm
house enjoying this while I wait for Spring. You can see the Honda in the
background. I forgot to park it off of the street last night and it is deeply
snow-plowed in. It looks like I won’t be going anywhere in it until the thaw, so
