I'm running out of superlatives to use for describing dunkel beers from Bavaria. Exceptionally nutty, interestingly grainy, roasted, boiled and fermented into amazing sweet goodness -- Oh, it's just not easy to put into words the happy, satisfying flavors in this glass. I wish I could write as well as Germans can brew.
Add Ettal to the list of places I need to stop when I make a European vacation.
