Penombre Black IPA

It was high school graduation today in our little community. Going from one party to the other I enjoyed cupfuls of punch representing about every point of the rainbow. Now home at last, I can settle down with a black beverage. This French Canadian beer has an intriguing complexity from the earthiness of the dark roasted malt coupled with serious hop bitterness. Not quite my favorite beer, but oh, so much better than green punch.
