Tonight I reach again
into my six-pack from Julie Allen of beers from around the world. Musician
Frank Zappa once said, “You can’t be a real country unless you have a beer and
an airline; it helps if you have some kind of football team, or some nuclear
weapons, but at the very least you need beer.”
Ireland definitely has enough good beer to prove itself worthy of its status as a country. This splendid Red Ale on its own, would be enough to make the case. Similar to the common Killian’s Irish Red, Murphy's is much
bolder in flavor.
