Calm Before the Storm

I am really liking the Ballast Point samples in my Advent Beer Calendar. This cream ale with coffee and vanilla is a unique experience. We usually associate coffee flavors with dark roasted heavy beers. But in this drinkable, light in body and reddish colored cream ale, the coffee flavor is an enjoyable component.
