Hofbräu Dunkel

My daughter Rachel and her new husband Miguel, got mugs for all the men in their wedding party. They gave me one too, and . . . something nice, brown and German to go in it. Dunkel, which is the German word for “dark”, is my favorite style. This one from Munich is a good demonstration of how the Bavarians have shown the rest of the world how to brew good beer.
