I spent the afternoon with a good old German friend who stopped by our house with a growler of beer. This easy going IPA from Leclaire, Iowa is fairly well balanced and has nice fruity aromas and flavor. I hope to get down to that brewery and try a few of their other beers--or encourage the German to come by more often.
