Smokin' Bishop

While I was smoking a salmon, Smokin’ Bishop Bock Beer from Invercargill Brewery in New Zealand seemed like an appropriate choice.

Our youngest child and I made this smoker last year for a 4-H project and we have been enjoying some great stuff on it ever since.  The salmon came out pretty good, with a side of fresh arugula and the first radishes from our garden.

I wanted to include the Smokin’ Bishop label on here but those New Zealanders are certainly very good at cementing paper onto their bottles; I can’t get it off.

Overall it was a very enjoyable and refreshing Bock.  The label’s name, Smokin’ Bishop, helped my imagination notice the hint of smokiness.
