Redbridge

Redbridge is #19 on my Advent Calendar 2012.  This is Anheuser-Busch’s Gluten-Free Sorghum Beer. Because I like beer so much, I always try to say the most positive things I can about the beers I feature in my book.  Redbridge is liquid.

My wife Sandy sniffed it and said, “It smells like something we could use to catch fruitflies.”

As a home brewer, I have made some very good beers, if I may say so myself. A couple of times however I have produced beer that is barely drinkable even by my standards. I can get it down, but I don’t offer any of it to friends when they come over.  Redbridge tastes like that.

I heartily agree with EgadBananas review of Redbridge on Beeradvocate.com, “It's drinkable, but if I was [sic] Gluten intolerant, I'd choose other forms of booze like hard liquor over this.”
