This is Pastor Appreciation
Month. Parishioners here have presented me with what I believe is the best possible expression
of appreciation: A really good beer!
Toppling Goliath is the best, closest brewery in this region and the piney
bitter ale in this bottle is sought after by aficionados way beyond Iowa. This
Wednesday has pretty much been a non-stop, stressful day and evening. Now to
relax with an IPA and the 7th game of the World Series.
