Deep Water Dopplebock Lager

After a difficult and stressful day I have a free moment to sit and relax with a beer that needs some slow thoughtful sipping. Our congregation's 125th Anniversary is Sunday and I have had a pile of work to do to get ready for it. There is so much work to be done that I'm sure I would be stressed today even if I hadn't procrastinated so much.

So for these next few moments I can say "Aah. . . ," relax my back and shoulder muscles and enjoy this dopplebock.

This has nice sweet flavors of dark fruits: cherries and prunes. It is not as complex as some of the great German Dopplebocks.
