A splendid, douple IPA by the fire gives some cheer to an otherwise quiet night alone at home. Can you see the photo of the brewer Jason from Squatters on the label? The enormous hop flower makes me smile.
This pleasant moment also allows me to work on my mental health. The American Chemical Society's Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry has just reported that hops have an ingredient that slows and reduces the symptoms of Alzheimer's. Cheers to that!
