Today, my wife’s birthday, I went shopping at the Fareway store to get the ingredients for one of her favorite meals: chicken cordon bleu with twice baked potatoes.

Since I was in Fareway anyway, I did take a peek at their beer aisle and picked up a six pack of Summit Extra Pale Ale. The light body and healthy hop flavor turned out to be a nice pairing for this dish.
