Krusovice

I’m having a Czech beer in honor of Jan Hus, the Bohemain priest and reformer who was killed for his faith on this day in 1415.

The Krusovice brewery dates back to a little over a hundred years after Hus’ time.  The “Imperial” pilsner is so good, I could be happy if it were the only beer I ever drank. But then I tried the Cerne dark beer and found it to be even better!

As seen in the picture, I read "Foxe: Voices of the Martyrs" while thoughtfully sipping this old Czech treat.
