Einbecker Pilsner

We ended our short family vacation with an overnight stop in the Amana Colonies of Iowa.  At the Ox Yoke Inn we had a fantastic family-style German meal. My Wiener Schnitzel with Spätzle noodles was a great accompaniment to the Einbecker Pilsner. Sandy and I were happy to share this place with our kids, giving them a taste of the food and life of times past.

Einbecker Mai-Ur-Bock

As a Lutheran, I have greatly benefited from the teachings of Martin Luther and his insights into faith and life he has passed down to us. Today, I benefited from a tip he gave the world back in 1521. Luther said:

"Der beste Trank, den einer kennet
wird Einbecker Beir genent"

which in English means, "the best drink known to man, is called Einbecker Beir."

The Mai Ur Bock has a full, sweet, malty flavor that is extremely enjoyable.
