I paired my breaded pork tenderloin sandwich with a palate pleasing brew. Newcastle's Scotch Ale is sweet and heavy on the malt flavor but with more hop bitterness than I remember in other samples of this style.

Newcastle Cabbie
This Black Ale has nice dark roasted grain flavors.

Newcastle Werewolf
Ethan’s broken arm calls
for the suspension of the rule about eating in the living room. For his recovery, we are passing the time watching football and crime shows on Ion TV.
Newcastle Werewolf is the
nutty and earthy malt flavors I expect to find in an English Ale. I’m not sure
what makes this different from the usual Newcastle Brown Ale. But I like it and
HyVee has it for sale pretty cheap these days after Halloween.
