Tasty and refreshing. I've had this a couple times when the restaurant or my fridge was out of the beer I was really looking for. This is a consistently solid second choice beer.

Buffalo Sweat
I was invited over to Julie's for cocktails and she was kind enough to allow me to bring my own beer. She knew that today, like every day in Advent, I had a special beer at the ready. This bourbon barrel aged oatmeal cream stout is excellent! It is sweet and bready like a sweet roll with a touch of background bitterness of burnt toast.
This shot from last month, shows Roger and Julie working for Sandy to construct this year's Advent calendar.

Pub Ale
On this Cinco de Mayo, I had this great English Pub Ale as I helped my wife stir up a fantastic meal of nachos and enchiladas. The Mexican food was authentic. I know, I've been there. And the beer was authentic too. Now, really the closest I've ever been to an English pub was at a little corner spot in Heathrow Airport on a layover in 2008. Maybe I'm not the best expert to judge. But from my experience I believe this is as close to authentic British pub beer a fella can get out of a brewer in Kansas.

Ethos IPA
The orange and tangerine bitter flavor in this Kansas brew made for a nice interruption to my busy day at Symposia 2014.
