St. Pauli Girl Lager

This is the 500th post on the beer blog and for such a landmark moment, I drink a beer that brings back fond 30 year old memories of my college dorm room. I, like many young men in their late teens or early twenties, had a poster of a healthy looking girl on my wall. My favorite feature about this pin-up girl was her ability to serve beer so skillfully.

A lot of time has passed since those college days. I have had a wonderful life, full of experiences and adventures. I have been blessed to see much of the world, having drunk beer on 3 of the 4 continents I have visited. If there is any one thing I still want to do before I die, it is to visit a biergarten in the south of Germany and get a liter of lager served by the St. Pauli Girl.
