What an enjoyable evening at this brew pub in Ames! The food and company was excellent. And the beer was unexceptional. I could sip this beer and still stay engaged with a pleasant conversation with my wife. During too many of my mealtimes my mind is preoccupied with the indulging flavors of the beer at hand. Tonight a quick "meh" is all that's needed to evaluate the beer and then on to enjoying the rest of the evening.
