Sandy and I took an
enjoyable stroll through the
National Brewery Museum™ in Potosi,
Wisconsin.
It has an impressive
collection of items from beer’s history, covering especially breweries in the upper
Midwest.
I was enthralled with several pre-prohibition bottles in good shape. This was definitely not the hokey
tourist trap we were expecting we might find in this little out of the way
town.
Afterward we enjoyed our
complimentary sample of Potosi’s beers.
I had the Potosi Black
beer on the left. It had the nicely
dark roasted grain flavor that I was looking for. Sandy ordered the Cave Ale, which I also drank.
I haven't taken the tour yet, but I've never had a bad beer from them.
