Anchor Christmas Ale

I like this one. But there are a lot of flavors I can't quite identify. That uncertainty leaves me feeling uneasy. Is that juniper berries?  Peppermint? This must be what it feels like for my wife when I serve her the soup I've spent all day cooking and she asks, "what're the green things?"  I also think of my son Ethan. I once asked him if wanted a fried egg. He said, "yes. But this time, dont put stuff in it." I understand that some time, simple is best.
