Köstritzer Schwarzbier

With sub-zero weather expected tonight, I appreciated the warm feelings from this good German dark beer. I actually enjoyed it more as it sat and warmed in the glass and the initial, almost excessive, fizz wore off. My wife chose to include this as #20 in my Advent Calendar. I’m going to keep an eye out to pick up more of it for myself in the future. As their website says, it is  Geschmackserlebnis – “a taste adventure”.
